The Cinematheque Reviews: We Are What We Are

With comparisons to Let the Right One In and Dogtooth (and not just by yours truly) this sadly overlooked Mexican dark comedy about cannibalism and the nuclear family (opened briefly in New York back in February) is a surprisingly (sort of) and quite strangely (more than sort of) enjoyable film.  Hopefully we will see it on some Best of 2011 lists in seven months or so.  My review of the film is up and running over at The Cinematheque.
